    3 Learns 12hrs later

There is a guy in my kd who keeps saying that I was a major contributor to getting us into war. I did 3 learns into the kd on april 2, and they declared war on us May 15 (I actully think it was may 18 but good enough) I tried to tell them that the 3 pts I added to the meter would have been disolved 12hrs later. Am I wrong?

    Since Age 54

"Plunder, Learn, Massacre and Raze are now worth 2 points on the meter"

Edit: FYI - April 2 and May 5 is nearly 36 hours apart

OK, so it was 6pts, but as you say, 36hrs apart. So, would the 6pts not be back to zero after 36hrs later?

There isn't enough details for us to make a conclusion on your situation. But here, maybe this helps.

"When a party hits up to 15 points they become hostile to the kingdom which they hit. Unfriendly status requires 5 points to achieve.

At each day change both hostile meters decay by one sixth (16.6667%) or 2 points, whichever is greater. "

Each real day (utopian month) - meter decay occurs on the 1st of the month.

This is why the hostile meter should be free to everyone.

Thank you very much! Dan, and nooblet (second time. 1st you were a smutsch) So I contributed 4 of the 15 necessary points. Fair enough, he is right.

Trippling is a substantial sign of aggression. You don't really give the targeted kd a chance to miss it. I guess the guy in your kd wanted to point that out.
When randoming, it's often wise to stay modest.

Yeah I would not tripple a kingdom I did not intended on waring. ... unless the kingdom was extreme ghetto land.

Agreed, don't triple unless you want retal.

That said, I quite enjoyed a 21mill gc triple plunder a couple of ages ago. Felt great until I realised I had all this cash, nowhere to put it, and had just become the new target >.<
