noob Q: Are players compared to land or NW for attacks?

I think I remember playing utopia when players were compared in size (acres,) and then later when they were compared in NW when ti came to calculating land grabs.

If there is a big dwarf suiciding me, and I can't stop him yet, then as my land drops to 1800 acres, and his goes to 2700 acres, and he is ~150% my size in ACRES then is he 150% 'bigger' than me,

or because he is only ~130% my NW, then is he 130% 'bigger' than me,

or, ..? can anyone explain this to me? my only strategy right now is to stop growing completely and let him get so fat that attacking me is too inefficient =\

If he's suiciding, you or your kingdom mates should hit him back for more acres than he hit you for. If you can't, he's not suiciding.

It seems like the gains when you hit smaller KDs drop extremely fast though. Guy from smaller KD hits us for 170 acres, province A retals for 180 acres (he's an orc), province B retals against for only 64 acres (he's also an orc).

On the other hand, when a KD hit into our KD, someone got grabbed twice, 175 and 140 consecutively. Where's the gang bang protection there?

gbp only really kicks in noticeably on the 3rd hit. There is only a small amount after being hit once

The third hit on the said province took 145 acres, but this was 12 hours after the 2nd hit. So GBP falls off after 12 hours?

GBP falls off when you hit as well. Apart from that, unless the 3 hits were provs with the same NW you cant see it as easily as NW plays a massive part in gains.
