Polar Bears (PB) received a war offer from Winter is Coming (WiC) after tagging "message for war". Despite PB being ~15% larger than WiC, WiC felt confident after winning 4 wars in a row.

Due to the size difference in PB's advantage, PB agreed they would give the button to WiC allowing WiC to declare shortly after.
To protect their larger provinces, PB kept their largest provinces home in the hostile period and would only send out their smaller provinces to give the button to WiC.

April 3 of YR11 Winter is coming Hostile (##:##) has declared WAR with our kingdom!

Once war began, WiC started chaining a few of PB's provinces with decent success. Furthermore WiC attempted to do some fireballing, but they felt as if PB had solid WPA making their fireball runs not very effective.
To try and counter PB's clerics, WiC used Emerald dragons. The first 48 hours where pretty close according to WiC, but as they where unable to reduce the networth gap, they where unable to turn the war into their favor.
WiC attempted to make a last push for turning the war by slaying their own dragon and sending another Emerald, but as soon as they received a new dragon from PB, they realized the gap was too big.

July 5 of YR11 Winter is coming - WAR (##:##) has withdrawn from war. Our people rejoice at our victory!

PB said they felt they had the upper hand on the chains, but WiC had better management on their TM and dragon slaying/sending part.
Monarch from WiC said that they may have been a bit too overconfident from their win streak to challenge a 15% larger kingdom. It was also their first war against a 25 province kingdom.

Compare Rage and Pulse, Bears did a lot better:

Actually, writing articles about top Kingdoms is more a chore than fun... Top KDs are full of little kids with egos bigger than their balls.

They all want to look good even if their KD sucked in the war.

And there are plenty of smaller kingdom's with ego's, they just aren't as vocal as some others.
