    Undead/Warrior Build Advice

    Hey guys,

    I am new to this game and decided to go for an attacker (Undead/Warrior) this age. I have been looking through the forums a lot for explanations and details and understand a little bit. I was trying to look for build but couldn't really find one. With all the search i did, this is pretty much what i put together. If someone could tell me if this is good or not it would help.

    UNDEAD/WARRIOR (Protection)

    Homes = *5* -10% max (full pop, can destroy)
    Banks = 30%
    TG = 5-10%
    TD = 10%
    Guilds = 30%
    Stables = 10%

    UNDEAD/WARRIOR (OOP) (high percentages for war)

    Homes = 5 -10% max
    Banks = 5 -10% max
    WT = 10-20% (20% war)
    GS = 15-20% (up to 25%+ during war)
    TG = 15-20% (20% war)
    Baracks = 10-20% (20% war)
    hospitals = 5-10%
    (when not at war, add, havent figured out proper allocations yet)
    TD= %
    Stables= %
    Guilds= %

    Is this any good? do I need any guilds, TD's, stables, etc OOP?

    Your ideas for war are right on. From the 25%+ GS, when you're a chain target, to 5-10% hospitals - that's a good amount.

    For protection, and the 2-5 days after depending how much you explored, banks and armouries give you the most benefits. Stacking military is the best thing you can do right now, and having acres to fuel that is .. how it works. :P
    For war, focus on your strengths. Pump yourself to the teeth with ghouls and hit big. A bigger offense is more added offense from your 20% bonus, so just make yourself a beast! Some people like to build homes or banks in war to make yourself a little more resilient, but I'm not into that. Focus on the WTs, TGs, Rax, GS.
    Stables are a preference building, I don't go for them since TGs are easier and your percentage bonuses stack like a boss.
    TDs I would not build.
    Guilds early on you'll want to keep 20-25%, you can let those die off and be ~10% or so later on. Towers I would always start war with 8-15%, especially early in the age. Your mages never have enough runes in the first war, so help them out.

    Cool! Thanks a lot man. That helped a lot.
    First time playing this game, it looks like a lot of fun. played a game similiar a while back(Thardferr) but this is way more complex.

    heh, glad u are enjoying the game, i picked this up just b4 the start of last age. gosh its silly how addictive it gets . sometimes i just wish i can get over all the rebuilding stuff n get to war asap during eowcf. good luck in your utopia experience =P

    You also get elites when you trad march and I think you get more if your army is all off spec so if you can break just using specs. Eventually you want all elite. If your active and can attack as soon as your army gets back in war then get 10% stables and raze them for more TGs to give you that little boost in war if you have the time and money.

    JUst don't raze buildings when you come OOP, phase them out.

    what does off spec mean? and trad march?

    Offensive specialists. Skeletons for you. Similarly dspec is your Zombies. Traditional march is the standard attack, the one that gets land.

    I was curious, what is a good ratio of off specs and Dspecs OOP? i was thinking something like 3-4:1 and continuing that way for a while.

    I like to go around 2.5-3:1, but you are right to have a good amount MORE Off than Def.
    As an Attacker, you will get hit, so there is no real reason to over defend to try and stop it.
    Just use the Guard Stations to minimize the amount of damage is done when they do hit you.

    For someone new to the game, you seem to have the concept of the attacker down pretty well.
    Nice build ideas up top. The only thing I saw was,
    1. No Thieves Dens and
    2. Try to keep a good amount of Guilds early on then phase them down as the Age goes.
    Wizards/Acre(WPA) is big when in War.

    Switch Thieves's Dens to Watchtowers. Undead Warrior is classified as a heavy attacker, or pure attacker. So you don't need modifications to your T/M offensive ability, but rather your T/M defensive ability. Watchtowers will provide your province with passive defense, which will negate a small % chance that enemy thieves get through. (Attackers gaining Intelligence, and T/Ms econ ops & destructive Ops)
