I compare Utopia to pro sports in a sense.

As time goes by and sports progress the players get bigger/faster/stronger. Think of this but in reverse for Utopia, as the game progresses the players in top server kd's get worse and worse as the player base decreases.

To compare a Micheal Jordan with a Wilt Chamberlain, or Wayne Gretzky with Maurice Richard, from different eras of the sport is unfair and has no real merit. In the times they played they were the best at what they did amongst the players at hand.

SO the super kinbgdoms of today are "super" kingdoms in a sense of the word, but to say they are anywhere near the quality of a kingdom from 10 years ago is LoL.

Prob since the 6/7 we went 2 ages back as last age was awful. Also the fact maybe we held our own against BiO with 5/6 new members and that neither side actually won that war although BiO claimed differently...

Was a good war and nothing off of the win but we only accepted as we would not agree to there free wave as requested. HaLL were nice in the war forums. Maybe too nice...

I'm monarch and founder of Melee Weapons. I've never used the terms Super Kingdom nor Warring Kingdom to describe us. I've also never trash talked or slung mud at Hall of Heroes. I respect their kingdom, just like I do 99% of the rest of the server.

HoH's win had more to do with their early age strat than with "whose better at war." At the time of their wave, they had every advantage: Cleric > Sage in yr1, they had UB's, they just left a pump in fortified stance, they had more nw more land and more nwpa, they were in war build. So they put themselves at a huge advantage before any hits were exchanged. Well played by them.

Prior to their wave I tried to get a CF with them. One option was to eat a wave in exchange for an eoa cf. That's just as painful as a war loss on my pride-meter. So I decided to give it a shot at war, knowing the odds were stacked against us. We had a small shot, we took our shot, we missed.

The only thing I'm a little bitter about is during my talks with HoH leadership, I thought we were close to reaching an arrangement. The person I was speaking to had to leave for work so I figured we'd talk again later. 10 minutes later, I put our kingdom in fortified stance (planning to swap into war build). Then 10 minutes after that they started their wave. Had I known that we couldn't avoid the wave, I would've stayed in aggressive. That's a big reason why the hostile was so lopsided.

MW aren't a war SKD. I didn't even know there were even war SKD's, if there were such titles only 2 kd's could carry it, FS & Cats but even then I would question it, if you're at the top you fight top, but at the bottom your opponents vary in strength.

Super kd denotes, superiority on all levels, land/nw/warring/whoring/etc. U go to the top of the charts for that.

You don't have to prove anything and you don't have to blow your own horn. ;)
