    Guilds + Channeling science = Higher Duration?

    Does anyone have with certainty knowledge that spell duration is effected by science? Or is it only effected by the percentage of guilds in your build? I'm trying to squeeze as many homes as I can into my build to hit my target EPA / TPA / WPA numbers this age, and was thinking about lowering my guilds to 10% as I have decent sciences.

    Alright, so that explains the duration. What about success of a self-spell? Are sciences at all involved in that?

    You can have 10 wizards and succeed with the most difficult self spell. They are affected by % Guilds.

    If somehow you believe that alters the duration of your self spells, I have failed as a teacher.

    Is there no NW-factor in spell-duration then? It often feels like there is...

    Duration of Spells

    The duration of successful spells is affected by:

    The nominal duration of that particular spell, which differs for each spell.
    The percentage of guilds the casting province has, with no additional effect for amounts over 20%.
    The relative net worth of the two provinces.
    The current relations between the two provinces' kingdoms.
