By the hundreds, if not thousands...

You know, about 5-10 of us are in a kingdom that's been getting hit repeatedly by Absalom **** bags that have absolutely no fear of any retribution. A lot of them suicide, leaving less than 75k defense at home on nearly 4k+ acres. I get an apology being told "there's no one left in our land range". Yea well, when you have 10 of the top ****ing kingdoms, interfering with any war that it may look like Absalom may lose...

How fun can it be, controlling all the top kingdoms? I bet that alliance is meeting a lot of resistance. Must be fun picking on scrub kingdoms, right?

Must be also fun acre boosting, exploiting land grabs intra kingdom as well, huh?

And yet people wonder why this game is dieing. Poor regulations. Poor advertisement. No abilities for smaller kingdoms to succeed. Poor coding with scripting running rampant. Just viewing the source code of pages I am smacking my forehead.

Am I complaining? Yep. I've been back one age and I am already ready to quit because it's obvious that the developers aren't listening.

Put in a mechanic where there is 50% less gains for continuously attacking someone in a non-war situation within X amount of time frame. Do SOMETHING. This is old, really ****ing old. Having 160+nwpa only this far into the round in a non warring kingdom at around 500k nw, pretty ridic.

Smaller kingdoms have lots of room to succeed. It is not difficult to do so if you are willing to work as a team and take the advice of those who know more than you. Let me help:

1) Kill off any of your kingdom mates that explore & turtle. They are unable to defend themselves or you.
2) Do not grow to a size that puts you in direct competition with provinces and kingdoms against whom you can not win.
3) Diversify. If your kingdom is intent on growing larger provinces that will be the subject of bottom feeding, grow a backbone and some teeth. Have and mystics in the kingdom grow with you, and have them fireball any kingdoms that give you relations. Cast greed, storms, explosions, etc. Run high offense and low defense - enough that you can retaliate against those who are attacking you.
4) Once you've developed the ability to retal effectively with ops and attacks, begin asking for cease fires. Bigger kingdoms do not want to run endless retal wars with smaller ones.

Out grow my kingdom of 10 active people, all of which are within 50-75 k nw of me whom are ALSO being chained by 2-3 of these kingdoms? Please enlighten me with your logic. Since we're making assumptions, should I assume you know what province I am?

How about Utopia's developers stop trying to capitalize on financial gain by allowing people "buy" people back into a kingdom and instead "mix" up all the kingdoms for a round. Create some chaos. Forge a real round where kingdoms actually have to come together with complete random people to succeed. I guess that won't make any money and it might piss off the 200 or so people that have been playing with each other's dingalings for the past 5+ years.

Do you think it coincidental that all the top kingdoms have 25 players? The "average" kingdom has to struggle to even get 20? Why is it that Utopia doesn't flesh out ghetto kingdom's to 25 players? Answer me that? OH DECLINING PLAYER BASE.

This happened once. Nobody liked it. It never happened again because it accomplished nothing other than pissing everybody off.

You can do this already. In 2-3 weeks my friends and I (8 of us) managed to build a 25-strong kingdom using only people we had never spoken to before. It worked out decently. Give it a try. Also remember that the kingdoms in the top, and all the kingdoms that are better than you, managed to do so by cooperation and hard work. Even if they used invites or traded, it still requires effort to accomplish almost anything.

I honestly doubt there are even 200 people that fit this category. Many, if not most, of the people playing in the top 10 were not in kingdoms of any worth 5 years ago. Many not even 5 ages ago I bet.

See above. It took 2-3 weeks for 8 people to become 25. Recruiting is hard work, but it is not impossible.

Utopia is a competitive game. It groups players into teams and pits them against one-another. If you are not willing to think things through sensibly in order to do better, why complain?
