    Rand Paul for president?

Rand Paul is the junior United States Senator for Kentucky. He is a member of the Republican Party. A member of the Tea Party movement, he describes himself as a "constitutional conservative" and a libertarian.

If he ran for president in 2016, he could get supported by 3 parties Republican, Tea Party and libertarian party.

I was a big Ron Paul supporter and I like Rand Paul just as much. Who here thinks Rand Paul could be the next president of America?

The republican establishment will never have it. They clearly do not like conservatives or libertarians. They will put up another me-too guy like McCain or Mittens. They don't have the balls to follow their own platform anymore.

Herman Cain could've won. There are several candidates that better represent America. Why the GOP put Mitt Romney up there is beyond me. A spoiled rich boy who wants to cut the rich taxes, tax the poor and take away food stamps. Let them eat cake? Gimme a break. the GOP had better change its stance on taxation, or there will be no Repubicans in office on the national office @ all after the next election.

I'm all for family values, I'm with the Right on just about everything else. But when it comes to taxation, the right is dead wrong!

It would be interesting at least. Libertarianism has some pull to it. It would be significantly stronger than identifying as a republican, which is generally laughed at these days. We only allow them into the lesser offices for our amusement.

Lost me there. I don't like to put a lot of stock in politician's parties, but if there's one party to NOT identify yourself with right now, it's the Tea Party.

If the Republicans aren't idiots, they'll support Chris Christie, but I have a feeling Democrats are going to back Joe Biden for Presidency, so unless the republicans can throw together another failure as massive as McCain/Palin, this should be an easy election for them.

The Tea Party has taken a bashing from the Drive by Media and its not a horrible group. I agree with you on the other stuff McCain was a poor pick and he picked an even worse running mate. I even like Palin but a poor pick indeed. Don't need any more Progressive Presidents no matter the party name.

He wont. He was utilized in a way that bars him from ever winning. He's the killer along side a bank.
