At least give them a few things extra for example the inactive bar so they can see who is inactive and who isn't. This would make it at least better if the Monarch needs to do something for a day or 2 and is unable to handle it at one time.

nice idea
If the monarchs going to be away for a day or to why not just switch a few votes to the steward.

Because the steward doesn't need any votes to be the steward....the steward is chosen by the Monarch :D
I like this idea. We just had our monarch go inactive during our last war, but it was very hard to determine if he had logged on and just not said anything or was truly inactive. Giving the steward access to seeing who is inactive or not seems to make sense as well.
its also requires coding, unlike splitting a few votes between 2 people which can have a monarch switched over if done correct with the steward switching their vote back and forth when control is needed.

If you know anything about coding it acutally just takes a copy/paste if the code is written well and i'm sure bishop does an excellent job. After the copy and paste it is just changing from Monarch to Steward. Therefore it would be quite simple to have it implemented :D
If it is not a copy paste depending on how the code is written it might just be adding steward to the permissions
If you know anything about the coding here,it takes alot longer to get things coded when they do this in their spare time.and Bishop isnt the one doing it unless thats changed .

a very small change, no harm done to anyone and will not change the gameplay, i'll vote for this idea..
