Failing spells - evensized NW target?

    Hello all,

Kind of new to being a TM (elf mystic) but im having issues i just don't understand.

Right now we entered a war - im at 397k NW - my target is 400k NW.

I'm a elf mystic with 5 raw WPA - he's a halfling rogue with less then 2 WPA.

I've fizzled 7 fireballs in a row - how is that possible?

    Any help is appreciated.

RNG or his wpa isnt as bad as you think. Most likely the latter.

Whats the most accurate way to see WPA - we use shrimp but is it accurate?

In shrimp im showed as mod 8.5 wpa, he is showed as 1.7 wpa....

Gather all his intel and calculate his wpa by workign backwards from troops/peas/land/science/buildings totals to find nw available for wpa. I would guess that shrimp is wildly inaccurate.

Don't ever fizzle that much in a row, it's a waste. 2 fails are enough

Your sample size is too small to draw any meaningful conclusions.
This is my province. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My province is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
My province, without me, is useless. Without my province, I am useless.
I must attack hard with my province. I must attack harder than my enemy who is trying to pk me. I must pk him before he pk's me. I will...

Just tried some more, I fizzled aprox 50% against him.

I should just find another target right?

Problem is all the rest are a lot smaller then me or bigger heh. (We are trying to rebuild atm so province sizes are a mess)

50% success rate on FB is enough to remove his peasants, why would you want to stop?

Get Undead to FB him or something. Elf mana is important.

    1) networth difference is not calculated for FB success rate i think.. so you still can FB other targets with lower networth..
    2) since nw you're still in a war, there's no time for experimenting fail rates, so maximum 3 fails in row > switch target..
    3) your halfer target might have mWPA close to yours, its easy to assume this if he was initially bigger and had his land taken..

i'm was an elf/mystic hybrid with 5rWPA and i tend to fail a lot too until situation forced me to go full T/M, then i had around 8rWPA.. since then, i might have failed less than 10% of all the spells i casted throughout two wars..
