Braveheart is not a person... Wow lol its in reference to William Wallace who was a 'braveheart' but ultimately got betrayed by Scots and eventually killed by the English and buried in 4 parts of England with his head hanging from tower of London.

In Monster (2003, with Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci) the serial killer Aileen Wuornos is the Monster, but I don't know if it's ever said in the movie.
In Lethal Weapon (1987, another Mel Gibson), I'm pretty sure there's no dialogue where they refer to Mel Gibson as THE Lethal Weapon; it's only mentioned in a tagline.
In Million Dollar Baby (2004, Hilary Swank, Clint Eastwood), she's the million dollar baby because she gets into the title fight for a million dollar purse. There's no direct reference to the title in the film.
One of Braveheart's taglines was "His passion captivated a woman. His courage inspired a nation. His heart defied a king."

It's implicit in some cases that the title of the film refers to the main character. You obviously know this Palem. Why you gotta make me do dis???? Do I really have to offer more examples??

Tetely - there are numerous characters throughout the film who display a tremendous amount of courage. Wallace's wife, the one princess lady (forget her name), the scotts who chose to rebel against a nation they "couldn't" win against, Bruce who took up the fight after Wallace died.

To suggest that braveheart only refers to Wallace who chose to fight the English over rage, not courage, is a little daft.
