To suggest that braveheart only refers to Wallace who chose to fight the English over rage, not courage, is a little daft.
the word "Braveheart" is inscripted on Wallaces shield Palem.....

    Just drop it ffs....

"His courage inspired a nation. His heart defied a king." Courage + Heart = Braveheart
Come on ... Braveheart not braveheartS
Its an Epic about Wallace at its core
    He is THE Braveheart!!!!!
Regardless of who else it could feasibly apply to, it's obviously him.

I haven't once said Braveheart doesn't apply to Wallace, I said it doesn't solely refer to Wallace. To suggest that the term only refers to Wallace is silly.

All this stemming from the fact that calling one's self "Braveheart" doesn't mean you're calling yourself William Wallace. I'm going to assume that by "Braveheart" Mansoor is refering to himself as Wallace's wife, who had her throat slit after refusing to be raped. This is a fitting name.

Wouldn't The Bruce be the Braveheart? I guess as far as the movie goes, probably not. Not like the lepper King is the Braveheart or anything.

In the story Mansoor is the Bravheart so that's the end of it really.

Well, Braveheart is the term the "Braveheart-generation" connects with William Wallace. If anyone says Braveheart, most of us would immediately go "Oh, William Wallace. That movie was awesome".

Braveheart can mean a lot of things, but it is so strongly associated with William Wallace by several generations that it can be seen as a synonym for William Wallace. If one wants the term NOT to refer to William Wallace, one would have to specify it. Words mean what we want them to mean.

I am a linguist, btw. :p Sociolinguist, and as such an expert on this field. I have studied how language, including words, is treated in society, and how we put meaning into words and language. Who would have thought!

    Edit: Mansoor kicks a**!

Jamis...fabricated story? All of that is true!

At the moment SWEA is holding grounds, haven't made HoH grow to much.
