    Football
    Soccer

    Things they are bad at:

This is my province. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My province is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
My province, without me, is useless. Without my province, I am useless.
I must attack hard with my province. I must attack harder than my enemy who is trying to pk me. I must pk him before he pk's me. I will...

    Ahem........

On July 12, 1812, an invading American force of about 1,000 untrained, poorly equipped militia across the Detroit River and occupied the Canadian town of Sandwich (now a neighbourhood of Windsor, Ontario).

By August, they retreated to Detroit, where they surrendered to a significantly smaller force

The surrender not only cost the United States the village of Detroit, but control over most of the Michigan Territory.

Several months later, the U.S. launched a second invasion of Canada.

That is not strictly true. There has been wars between the USA and Mexico and there were plans at one time to invade Canada.

uhm Mexico was invaded in the Mexican-American war of 1846-1848. You can hear evidence of this in the U.S. marines song "from the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli"

Canada was briefly invaded in the war of 1812, granted it was British held territory then and granted things didn't go well for the U.S. in that war, so I can understand why you keep forgetting about this war. You got your precious little White House in Washington sacked, but don't be sad at least you managed to keep your star-spangled banner as is evident in a poem.

Although many Americans don't believe it, science tell us that the earth is about 4.5 billion years old. So things that happened 200 years ago can be considered 'recently'.

The first human skeleton would also be considered very recent.

America itself is hardly over 200 years old. That didn't "recently" happen.

California and Texas was bought from Mexico, not taken by invasion.

America = a continent. it's been around since before humans learned to walk on their hind legs
usa = a country (let's leave it at that)

There is no continent called America.

Here in the US, we use America as a short version for the United States of America. The rest of the world may continue going on pretending that America is a continent.
