Fixing the Wiki - Magic Edition

    Area #1 - Magic Formulas

Its in the wiki spellbook article:
    http://wiki.utopia-game.com/index.ph...Magic_Formulas
These make sense for the self spells and some offensive spells
    Fireball
    97% Spell Bonus
Kills 3% of equal sized opponent's peasants

Sure, 3% dead peasants leaves 97% remaining. But why is it called a 'spell bonus'.

I have no idea how spell bonus works with these offensive spells.

    Amnesia
    97% Spell bonus
Turns up to 13% of opponent's science back into research, 65% of this science is relearned, the rest is destroyed.

    Nightmares
    97% Spell Bonus
Makes roughly 1.5% of troops be put back in training over 6 hours. Soldiers will quit instead.

    Lightning Strike
    75% Spell Bonus
Destroys up to 65% of opponent's runes

In general i feel this column isn't needed or helpful with the wiki as the description clearly states what the spell does.

    Area #2 - Spell Effects

Some spells are very clearly defined, LL: Effect: Captures a small and random (up to 1,35%) of the enemy land. Others are not, Tornados: Effect: Destroys a small and random portion of buildings. It would be nice if either the devs can let us know, or we as the community can come up with the correct values for these. We should strive to have a numeric % or range associated with each spell.

    Area #3 - Spell Difficulty

This could easily be in the 'thievery edition'. For new players it would be good to have a listing of a spells difficulty. Even if this is 'easy/medium/hard' similar to how older iterations of utopia did it http://thedragonportal.inz.cc/guides/11/. Ideally we would be given the 'difficulty modifier' from the development team. If the dev team will not provide it, we should come to a consensus on these, or just rip off the old guides and put them into the wiki.

If anyone else has some suggestions please put them in this thread.

    Attacking & Defending
    Attack Gains
    Traditional March
Base gains are 12% and Traditional March gains are capped at 20% of your or your opponent's land, whichever is smaller.
    Plunder
Base gains are 50% gold, 60% food and 60% runes. Max gains is 1.35x base (67.5% gold, 81% runes/food).
    Raze
Destroys a portion of the targets land. In war this attack only destroys buildings

    Learn
Base gains are 9.375% of each category of science.
    Conquest
Base gains are 6.8% land for a full hit, gains are decreased in proportion to the relative offense sent vs. targets defence.
    Massacre
Base gains are 9.5% peasants, 8.5% thieves and 5% wizards

    Why no number for Raze?
