    Custodian of a province

I was recently invited to take over a province and the usual options were there (i.e. start new province, delete old province) but there was an option saying agree to let the monarch be the custodian of my province. I was wondering how does that work? How can you invite someone and put that option in? I'm guessing it means he can kick me out if I dont play ball..

    Cheers

I assume you already had a province when you got the invite? I've never done it myself, but if that was the case then you can hand over your old province to the monarch of your old kingdom when you take up the new province. The monarch can then recruit a new player to take over your old province rather than it just getting abandoned since you can't take it with you on accepting the invite.

Like pmyraje said you didnt let your new monarch be the custodian of the new province you took over, but you let your old monarch take over your old province so he can assign a new player to it.
