Its a much stiffer competition in the top 100 this age, only one really major NW gap and that's between standing 8 and 9. Then once you get to 19th is a very very gradual reduction.
I think that's a good thing personally.

I think most people / most KDs got an idea of how it worked last age and then were able to build more equally balanced KDs this age. There may be lots of other factors, but this is the first age that I've played since coming back that its been this close with very few major NW gaps.

The only reason is because explore formula is still very limited for ghetto prov growth and splore pool increases at half the speed.

The thing is all those ghettos in the bottom of the graph arent stalled on nw because of the explore pool/formual, those are non factors at that level. It may very well be a factor at the top.

I agree with topsy. The explore changes are usually the most influential changes from age to age. With the limited pool the growth kds can't break away as quickly as they could last age. That's why the nw gap is so small.
Ye, becose warring the same orcs/ud for 3 ages arent enought. Tho alot of dorfies in the warring kds this age :)
If the change from last age to this age's explore formula/pool made that much of a difference, then it should be improved a bit further then :P

Also, agree with explore pool being the limiting factor having everything so close together. No major war advantages with one KD having a cow twice the size of another, so wars are closer together as well. More wars too, because the warwin acre bonus makes a bigger difference now.
