While I'm not support, I'm going to guess that it's not a coincidence that this was the order of events

1. PewPew makes 8 hits into SWEA (to give them button)
2. PewPew suicides into AMA's banks
3. SWEA declares on PewPew

There is nothing in the rules that goes against what SWEA did, otherwise a lot more people should be punished for hitting suiciders.

Biggest PewPew mistake was arranging that fakewar, instead of just farming out to SWEA oow, while retalling AMA. This way it's all would be within rules. Oh well PewPew wanted to farmout to some1, so AMA can't win and they did it ;)

filip I can only assume that SWEA got put into VM because they knew by entering war they'd be farming PewPew with no retals back.

but again thats just an assumption and the only reason why I can see SWEA getting punished as well.
