Banker

Hey I wanted to get some input from players about being a Banker.
I Wanted to know what would be a great Race/Personality to play this role I was thinking about Human Merchant but I would still like others opinions.
How to set up War/normal build and science build etc.

Feary Rogue, Feary Merchant, Human Merchant...largest in KD, unbreakable in most time...your KPI is evaluated based on your no. of aid shipment in war...
dragon killing, kidnap peasant, TOG your main job..

Human mystic, have to keep the peseants safe and more tog is good. But definitely be the biggest in kd, pump out the elites

Human Mystic indeed. +1 mana regen in war is huge along with keeping your pezzies safe.


All of this might be a moot point soon though with the new changes.

The reason top kd's run hum/mystic is for oop, something irrelevant when talking about the "bank" size you'd be wanting.

Thanks for the Tip but I'm not a noob, It's not like I would follow everything to the T, just wanted to get more opinions.
More heads are better then 1. This is just the first time playing the Role of banker. I have my own Idea of how i'm going to build and set things up,
but still wanted to hear what others had to say .

... really? thats disgusting... why bother to even have a strategy thread if players abuse it like that?

No. Not really.

The flaw in that argument being that say Jaxon tries to launch a bank and fails and the competition is closer to Jaxon at OOP. They get to farm him out and it ends up hurting my kd by giving the competition an advantage.

I do see what your trying to say but wouldn't that work for all of the threads where people are asking for Opinions? Like what is the best race or how do you build for this race, so on and so forth. I just simply wanted to hear what other people thoughts were on this topic. I already have an Idea of what I'm going to do and who I'm going to be.
So now the question is Why help others and not me?

I've never built/ran a bank so I can't help with the specifics. The only useful information I could provide is successful race/pers combos, which I've done.

Depends on kd size and how you define bank. Are you trying to end the age at 30k acres or just trying to be 3-4 times bigger than the next biggest in your kd?

although I would love to end up in that type of Kd, 30k acres, unfortunately I don't think my present kd is there yet. so my guess is 3-4 times bigger.
As for Banker it would be giving aid to those who needs it and to fund the dragon or to Kill it (depending on how I build) also to be able to protect myself from Prying thieves .
