Human vs Avian vs Undead - Cleric

Human science bonus is great but when I simulate human I am having trouble fitting all the buildings into my build.. its very tight, but the elite has some ambush protection.

Avian looks great. If I run cleric I look to be very formidable as an attacker and a little harder to ambush due to speed of return.

Undead loses a general but they can get science this age. No food huge plus.

    Thoughts?

I agree with Palem, as long as you have the activity to army in/army out. A>U>H

undead should be warrior in any organized kd. You can get away with merchant or cleric if your in the ghetto and dont think your likely to be chained, both are about equally as strong at that level.

And for what its worth U>H>A

Avain might be the best race in terms of capability and effectiveness, however you run into 2 issues that i've yet to figure out how to overcome.

You burn yourself out if you do sub 8 hour attack times in war and then learn/plunder all age when not at war.
Running <4 in a kd means they shell themselfs out by attacking so often without making enough of an impact in war to end wars sooner.

Avian cleric is a no brainer for me.
As Persain said, Undead Warrior is kind of required for a higher level kd
Human...I'm honestly not sure. Most likely Sage.

I've thought about it and faery is sage despite the human advantage. The faery can actually use the science because they have a spell book to lean on and defend themselves in every phase. Human's great for sage if they're not oped, I otherwise still see them as ideal merchants. The beauty of this age is the equality of effectiveness. If I applied the changes to undead cleric(59) to my province last age I'm one of the guys that would've reaped benefit. I can only recall 1 critical quad and no critical 5-taps. -1 general is a gimp, but the science is a welcome change. Consider the heavy adversary is orc warrior.

Question about cleric pers... does it protect you from spells and ops? I mean like ns and nm? -50% casualties? how about peasants, thieves and wizzards from massacre?

    No.

Watchtowers will lessen NS kills though.
