Attack gains based on NW instead of land

when was this changed? its been a long long time since i played this game, but i found out today(the hard way) that land gains are based on NW not land, so im wondering when this piece of rediculousness was put in place. Used to be a time where they actually DISCOURAGED you from being a fat underdefended pig of a province, but now apparently its quite the contrary, when you get 0 acres for hitting someone 100% of your land size, and only gain 5% land off someone 127% your land size. Kinda wish i had known that early so i wouldn't have wasted my time attacking and just be a boring explore whore for the first little while

    sigh

Stop trying to bottom feed and attack people within 10% of your networth for actual gains.Land based gains did not show a true indicator of a attack. All it did was let people explore wildly and then farm out the land after 3 days in protection. They can still do it but the gains are almost nothing as you just found out.

Bottomfeeding nothing, if you wanna leave protection after exploring an additional 250 acres, but cant be bothered to train a single specialist you deserve to get attacked, that's not true bottomfeeding thats probably the most logical decision you could make. This encourages people to play poorly and protects them in the process, and is outright rediculous, if they wanted to put massive diminishing returns on it thats one thing, but its absolutely stupid to allow people to safely play like that. If you were attacking real provinces that were way smaller in size then you thats understandable, but its rediculous to get 0 acres from someone with 27% more land then you no matter what their networth is, and in regards to people farming out the land OOP, if you think that 150 or whatever acres they take is gonna make or break their age, they were probably already a good player.

    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Try reading the guide instead of assuming nothing changes..

Traditional March - This attack, if successful, takes away a portion of the target's land, and gives it to the attacker when his/her army returns.
The target's size in acres, Relative Networth and the Relative Kingdom Networth are factored in to determine the amount of land taken.

It was changed a long time ago now. LBG encouraged endless pumping and swarming of newer players, not that this still doesn't happen. Networth is a better indicator of province strength and is a more fair comparison. You'll still find fat targets to hit, just look for people within your networth bracket with loadsof land. Theres a built in target finder which will open up once all the islands are visible in your war room.
