    Age 59 Elf A/M Hybrid Figuring out the numbers.

    My goal is to make a province with the ability to cast MS, Nightmares, FB, and Tornado on attackers and toss an MV on my attackers when called upon, while still being able to ambush, retaliate, and attack mid to less defended provinces in war.

    Thievery actions are not important other than Intel on occasion. I may steal a little here and there but unless they are seriously under thief defended it is not important the rest of the kingdom has got that role.

    I have been going over the numbers and this is the best I have come up with.

    Assumptions.
    1,000 acres
    Fully built
    10% pop science
    Elf Mystic


    Total Pop:27775

    With 4 wpa I can run 65% draft rate, but my peasants will look a little low (5.5ppa)

    18053 troops
    - 1500 thieves (+20% Wts) Theory here is keep the casuals off me, a dedicated thief still blow me up.

    16553 - 8000 dspecs = 8553 elites

    32,000k raw defense
    42,765k raw offense

    Do these numbers look correct?
    is 5.5ppa too low?

    What would you change?

    with 20% wt's 1.5tpa is plenty imo
    in fact i think anything over 1.5tpa is too much when you have 20% wt's

    I'm playing A/m ELF MERCHANT. And yeah.. at almost 1,000 acres and my population is low, but the soldiers/military never die! except thief loss & exploring. Not a big deal with 80% success on Paradise spells & Trad marches.

    Archers: 4,968 (23,393 defense)
    Elf Lords: 7,489 (38,194 offense / 21,158 defense)
    (plus soldiers, horses, prisoners)

    Def. Points 45,386 54.55 DPA

    Max Population 22719
