Some thoughts from my perspective on war:

Month March, YR6
-My kd has waved Shinra kd, they refused war so we got into cf with them.
-We got waved by Acid Trip(~35 hits on us, trads mostly and learns after), kd whom had way too many advantages for us to even consider warring them so we offered cf and started diplo.
-10 ticks later Stoners hit us while we still couldn't resolve relations with Acid Trip. Seeing that we got doublehostiled AT took cf.

After short council meeting leadership agreed that we can punish the cockiness of stoners if we declare immediately and get two war waves before they get one full on us because we had avians and uds with rax, they had uds with no rax. Also they had few provs with troops home and we had 4 armies out. Troopers were aligned in no time.
We started sapphire on them and they started ruby.

For our 1st wave we decided to take down their king faery who ran 50% homes, needles to say he kisses the bottom of their land kd chart now, and one of bigger off uds with least land taken.
Their attacker core ran poor wpa/tpa numbers compared to ours and our attacker core was from start utilizing this advantage to do greed, riots, NS and FB.

We sent the sapphire before 2nd wave and did the same thing again, one fae and one ud. After this it was obvious they won't make UBs anytime soon.

And this was the turning point, they haven't sent their dragon, they tried to slow our chains down with chaining our high off uds. They had low dspa numbers and so they were forced to tank sapphire dragon which really didn't their halfers well. Sapphire boosted our opping power. We could then move on to chain other attackers and their halfers, we pressured them hard from all sides and their nw plummeted compared to ours. Shorly after min time there was nothing else for them but to WD.

PS: Your argument for approaching us the way you did was that you couldn't find war for long time, other kds were evading you and really wanted to war, I am really glad that you met us, we showed you what real will to war is!
