Nah seriously if Kuhan is up for reporting wars im sure it will be good to have war reporter again, we missing it and atleast it brings people to the forum! - As long as he report all KDs in top50 and not just top10. - Even if most wants to hear from the big established KDs i find it interesting and gives me something to do, to read about the lesser known too.

We get live updates on the wars that people care about...
Palem - I think the issue is, that yes we get live updates, but who is going to give away thier strategy during a live war, just cause the masses are clamoring for it.
I think the advantage to the news team is, that you can delve a little deeper into the strategies used, why they did or did not work, and what the end goal was. Plus you can read a concise summary, without reading 20 pages of flame, that has nothing to do with the actual war.
Also, you can add plot, flavor, depth, intrigue, etc with a news reporter. That was always my favorite, when someone takes a war's stats and turns it into a story

We get threads of Proteus gradually making the requirements of being a good player more and more rigid.
You can do all of these things in the current "live" war threads. Good articles tend to take time to write and by the time you've posted it, there's most likely another war people are interested in.
If monarchs aren't going to tell you about their strategies in a thread about their war, they're not going to tell a news reporter.
