    Using small cheese kingdoms at War

    So the last kingdom we warred, and the one hostiling us, is using a small kingdom of about 5000 networth, and they pile millions of gold into it and we cannot attack it because of gains formula, 350k networth does nothing to 5k networth. Many kingdoms are using this, and they pillage each others tiny kingdoms for million when they are in war, thereby attacking other kingdoms (i thought nobody did this, ever). Why arn't there rules against looping through the rules like this?

    they let a prov get chained to 50 acres with little incoming. farm honour with ops and plunder oow.

    you dont chain them low enough? they raze their own provs with TM's.

    Here is a province built for farming inactives. The problem is that it can work only oow. In war if you are chained and instead of gain land you plunder, you are most likely pked.

    300 acres, no homes no sci. Its 7500 total pop
    With 60% DR. its 4500 elites and thieves
    I split that 2k elites and 2500 thieves ( stealing is as effective as plunder in same nw targets but the raw number of thieves is the important factor)

    Build would be something like
    7% farms (even less maybe since plunders bring food)
    30% tgs (max off bonus with no extra nw)
    30% racks
    8% guilds (for self spells)
    20% tds (so can steal with low losses)
    the rest 4-5 % dungeons (prisoners have zero nw and raise offense)

    150 books per acre if avian on gains or 50 bpa on gains if orc. No other sciences
    Cleric personality for orc in order to avoid hosps
    warrior on avian for the extra general and 15% racks 15% hosps

    Total nw for avias would be
    300*55= 16500 land
    2500*4 + 2000*5 = 20000 ( thieves and elites)
    150 *300 /92 = 489 (science)
    3000 *1 = 3000 (peasants)

    Total is a little less than 40k

    For orc
    2000 *5.75 = 11500 (higher elite nw cost)
    50* 300/92 = 163 (less sci)

    Total 41.5k (with 2k more raw offense)

    If you try to pk him it -should- only make him stronger. I advise you to try.

    You dont care about pk, it's a zero investment province and i wouldn't advise it for war as well (for other reasons). The goal of such a province is to plunder non stop. Inactives oop have about 2 mill. So from week 2 to week 6 i can dare say that such a province could bring more income to the kd than the big banks. At week 6 it should have a huge positive tb so it can be pumped to join the rest of the kd.

    I have seen this before too as a way of funding dragons. You can RK it in hostile, in war though it isn't so easy to deal with. Quite an interesting tactic to be honest.

    Its easy to deal with in war, you PM the kingdom that is being plundered and ask them to razekill the person plundering.

    We killed someone in FREE earlier this age on request for doing this. I offered to kill FREE players who were doing this in previous ages as well when they warred my friends. When you hit out of war, it's no longer 1v1. To FREE's credit, while they were understandably angry, they accepted the consequences.


    I know this game has devolved into a really crappy diplomacy simulator, but you'd be surprised how effective it is when you stop talking and actually start doing things.

    As i said above i don't recommend it for war. The main reason is that you need a really active person to play that province. I had in mind 8 plunders every 30-35 hours plus using all thievery effectiveness. In war it's a shame to waste an active player like that. This province is useful for kds that want an early advantage to establish cows. The rest will figure out what is going on and raze the province for sure, that's why i have it to be completely expendable

    The first kingdom we fought this age did this and it was very effective.
    Finally we killed him but it is not as easy as you think.
