calculating land built and total population

An SOT does not contain information of land build, and total population.
If you take an SOT and format it with utopia angel, it will give you this information.

If we consider the networth of the things we do know we have:
food, gc, runes, horses, soldiers (not in training), elites, specs, peasants

And leaves us with the unknowns networth values for the following:
thieves, wizards, sciences, soldiers in training, built/in progress/barren lands

We dont know total population, because we dont know the number of wizards, thieves, homes, and sciences bonuses
We dont know the percentage of built land again because too many unknowns.

    Total Networth = (Peasants * 1) + (Soldiers * Soldier NW) + (Off Specs * Offspec NW)
    + (Def Specs * Defspec NW) + (Elites * Elite NW) + (Money / 1000) + (Horses * 0.6)
    + (Thieves * 4) + (Wizards * 4) + (Science / 92) + (Barren Land * 15)
    + (Buildings * 55) + (Buildings in Progress * 30)

I marked with underline the variables that are not known from SOT. It seems to me that to deduce the unknown values with no further information, you would have to guess values for each variable.

Does anyone understand how angel calculates values for the amount of land build and total population?

ohh.. now i see what you are asking...

Does it just default 90% built and 25% for sci/wiz/thief? Im oos i cant check this tick :P

    Max. Possible Thieves/Wizards: 12,474 (8.43 / Acre)
Estimated Thieves Number: 4,990 (3.37 per Acre)
Estimated Wizards Number: 1,871 (1.27 per Acre)

    ** Networth Table: **
Total Networth: 202,999gc (137.25 per Acre)
    Land (90% built): 75,429gc (37%) - [15+40gc]
    Thieves+Wizards+Science (est.): 49,898gc (25%)
    Beastmasters: 32,256gc (16%) - [5.25gc]
    Druids: 30,652gc (15%) - [4gc]
    Peasants: 13,123gc (6%) - [1gc]
    Soldiers: 1,497gc (1%) - [1.5gc]
    Money: 144gc (0%) - [1/1000gc]

The obvious question is have you looked around on the Utopia Temple forums? :)

It's been awhile since I have used angel and paid attention to the formatted SoT thing, but I vaguely recall it displayed a 90% built figure, so if that is still the case, I guess it would use that.

Spahrep: But that was not what he was asking :)

Just an update if anyone ever looks it up:
Utopia angel always estimates land to be 90% built.
Soldiers in training have 0 nw value, so they do not effect total nw.

Angel can calculate the remainder of the networth for:
    science + thieves + wizards

Without knowing exactly the values for each, it estimates thieves + wizards to be 55% of that networth, and sciences to account for the other 45%.
From the estimates for thieves/wizards it can calculate total population, and population per acre (also estimates).
