    I think most of the voodoo that people come up with to explain op success is rooted in a lack of basic statistical understanding.

    The same people that flip a quarter and it lands on heads and think they're more likely to flip a tails now.

    It is human nature to look for patterns
    Look at the people who track roulette wheels or lottery numbers looking for "Due" numbers or "Hot" numbers.

    Casinos make trillions on people with a system to leverage what is an independent trial.

    Everyone knows statistics are about deceit, manipulation, and preferential presentation. I would argue this thread reflects an advanced degree in the discipline.
