It's 5%/op for self spells... And 2%/op for offensive spells..... You must be casting your defensive spells first.... Also if you fail a cast it costs an additional point of mana....

Just to dumb it down for you... If your playing pure mage go elf/mystic.... If your playing t/m go Faery mystic.....
