Humans have 6/4 elites, the best and most expensive in the game.
right Human, Orcs and Undead (all strong attackers) Humans have higher def.
If I run 20% homes 7% farms 20% banks, 10% arms 10% guilds 10% towers and 10 % libraries, that leaves me with forts barracks, stables and dungeons to work in.
This leaves me with 27 * .95 * 1.1 = 28.2 in pop.
I will have 13.4 peons 1.5 thieves/mages 13.3 military. I can easily pay for 2+ elites per acre per day, which should easily cover 10% growth every day.
Assuming 1.2 military offense (what I was running in my second day as a halfer) I can generate 60+ opa at full offense sent, with 40+ dpa and huge income and science income.
I should be able to keep 15+ points per acre in income and population sciences, while keeping decent numbers in other categories.
I am guessing 7+ elites per acres at that huge growth vector, along with 6+ def specs, which you only need because you get them free.
Then you add in ToG which gives me and everbody else free gold, FOR THE WHOLE DAMN KINGDOM!
The key is science and income to make lots of the really valuable Human Elites.
At 6/4 the Knight is the best in the game, giving a sick offense and also maintaining strong defense. It is the only race you can do the mythical all elite, both in terms of efficiency and expense.
Humans only got better this age, and they were awesome last age!
Think about that for a moment and then change from AVIAN to HUMAN, no matter what your personality.
