    Draft rate during EOWCF

    What is the optimal draft rate for EOWCF?

    Assuming of course what ever draft level i choose will be accurate to have all soldiers drafted 18 hours before EOWCF ends (or is it 16 hours?)

    I could not figure out a formula for it, seems to have too many variables.
    Right now i'm leaning towards:
    1. Very high income (even better with tog) => Emergency draft + Patriotism
    2. Low income => Draft early and slow (Reservist/Normal/Aggressive + Patriotism)

    Depends on how much you have left from last war, and how good your income is. If I'm on 50-55% draft I usually only start drafting 48 hours before CF ends, so I profit from high income for the first 48 hours. But it all depends on how ready you want to be.

    It's 14h training time in EOWCF with IA.

    For draft I'd use emergency/patriotism if only one of the following is true: A) You have ToG, B) You're a dwarf so getting into a pump build is free with credits or at least C) You are active and can get enough gc to convert into pump build during the first 12h of EOWCF (aka ASAP).

    If none of the above then I don't know and will wait for someone to post a formula. :)

    Only do emergency + pat!
    Once the war ends build loads of banks and guilds, and then rebuild a portion of your war build into arms. Start drafting as late as possible.
    As for optimal draft, it should be around 30% right now, you may want to release your specs into peasantry and go even lower on draft if your pezzie count sucks right after the end of war.

    I'm guessing the question is "exactly how much better is emergency + pat than the other options?" Outside of war I don't like to use Emergency draft, as holding on to a bigger cash stockpile can be problematic in ghettoland.

    In eowcf, aside from drafting exploration troops and stuff to train the bare minimum of defense/tpa, emergency+pat all day every day.

    I'll second the draft calc tool, or your local bot.
    I'd be curious for someoen to run the math to see the most cost effective way to draft. EG lower rate over logner time or higher rate for short time. I've just always used the 'wait until the last minute and pump up emergency + pat' but i have no idea if thats the most cost effective, I'm assuming its probably not.

    In my current sims for eowcf going aggy+pat instead of waiting for emerg+pat costs you about 1-1.5 military/acre(independent variable is gc at !wave). This is on a non-tog and non-human core prov with low econ sci. As the econ modifiers go up waiting will increase this differential substantially.

    I would also point out that later in age(or even now with tog/humans) you wouldn't even be ABLE to get to a max mpa from eowcf going lower than emerg/draft since there is no draft speed modifier.

    TLDR: If you are in a planned pump environment, always go pat/emerg.
