    A tricky quesiton

I want to have some advice from the community about the following situation:

We messaged KD X for a war 2 days ago.
KD X reads the message, but does not respond.
We assume they're preparing something, so we wave them and give them the button in 2-3 hours time. At this time we were 6-7% bigger NW-wise.
KD X Monarch responds that he won't offer CF until he has 6 retal-hits in.
We respond that if he wants a CF he just has to take his losses.
KD X Monarch says that he will drag this hostile until EoA if we do not let them hit.
We respond that we will not accept the CF if they mass retal.
KD X makes 7 massacre attacks on one of our big halfers, we hit back.
Ever since we've been hitting into their KD incessantly.

Are we in the wrong here for feeding? The NW difference has grow now to 10-12%, but it wasn't as big when we started. We gave 8 hits for hostile button, stopped after that. If they don't want war, shouldn't they just take the hits and move on?

Nope you are fine. Last age a kd attacked us and ultimately no one accepted CF and we went into an auto war. If they try to drag it out, max that meter to get your war!

The fact that you think you need confirmation for your actions is bad.

If they have not offered you a CF, just keep going to town on them assuming its advantageous to you.

Haha Red, well in ghettoland it's not as easy to get away with 20 dpa. I ask my players to run at least 35 dpa, with 100 opa. Anything else will just turn you into a farm.

@Palem. I got back 4 months ago, and morals change in Utopia, quicker than you think. So I just had to be sure whether this was accepted behaviour in the community.

We will continue hitting, they're only retalling with more massacres, but we're leading 10K land now. No idea why their King puts his KD through this.

I'll say it once, I'll say it a thousand times.

There are no morals in utopia.

I was talking about orcs with 30-35 dpa and 130+ opa. But agreed in ghetto's it hard, cause you'll have negative income and rely on rest of KD and/or plunders :)

    Well, you'd need 12.5 elites/acre + max horses and 25% TGs to get 130 opa. 35 dpa requires 8 def specs/acre.

    That's 20.5 space already.

I like to run 2 tpa, 2 wpa, then you're on 24.5. If you want to maintain a semblance of income and BE, you'd need about 29-30 pop/acre. That means you either have to run homes or high sci to pull this off.

You could pull it off, but you'd be so NW fat from the homes and sci that you'd be better off just running lower draft on higher land.

What's with all the numerals? You're not ghetto. You couldn't be!

~ I'm doing blobs. I'm usually running a big blob of elites and my build is war slop ~

You're never wrong for waving a kingdom, unless you had a NAP in place. If a kingdom doesn't want to war and still demands retals you should farm them empty until they cry uncle. If they drag it out till eoa it just means you have unfinished business next age. Only proper course then is to hunt them down and spank their ass until you either have your war or they agree to a diplomatic solution. Treatening to drag it out till eoa is just lame :)
