Have to agree with that statement. Everybody always says the only crown that matters is the landcrown but only two kingdoms compete for real and the rest doesn't even seem to try. Win any other and people will say its nub crown :D

FYI they don't compete because they aren't good enough. Also this age I think 4-5 kingdoms competed just all but 2 gave up after week 4.

Yeah, I know. But so what? Maybe if we asked how many would rather grow than war it just might make more sense. Thus, why learn to grow if warring is more fun; Epic wars? Again, so what..

I'm probably one of the few willing to go for growing, but can't bring the community along. So fun is fundamental.

Yes but for anyone who is looking to compete at the highest level they are forced to grow. If you just want to much about at the mid level then warring is for you. On equal footing I think the best warring kingdoms would be okay warring the top kingdoms. They would still likely lose 95% of the time. But probably wouldn't farm out too hard.

Pyromaniacs, ghetto cats, pew pew and probably a few others have had limited success warring top kingdoms.

I will say that a number of kingdoms would do well to look at Where Am I? to see that there is a place for kingdoms that can't muster 25 quality players. This is similar to Thundercats a few ages ago. Sure, you might have some deep experience in Where Am I? but it does prove exploring can yield results in what appears to be a haphazard strat. Thundercats had no intel storage I was aware of and no formal irc. We had phenomenal players and I was just a pion, but it was eye opening.

If they'd try growing, they'd see it's fun.

    ...just sayin
