    Spain

Have the Favourites, and defending champions ever played so terribly in the history of the cup?

    Quite frankly I doubt it.

Anyway we have so many threads dedicated to figuring out what is wrong with the usa, I thought we should open one about the problems with spain. I think they are going to end up doing worst this world cup then the USA. When did american soccer become better then spanish?

right now the Spanish aren't happy with their king. I didn't mean king Felipe, but king football.

Last years was an exception in football. For a sport that is extensively played in the country, we historically have done horribly in international competitions…so used to it, or should be at least. :D

I think there was national depression for a day or two and then people recovered quickly. Of course some people didn't even watch it… :)
