Anyone here ever flashed a lubuntu image to a cubietruck? I never have. Is it difficult?

I'm in way over my head on this one. I'm trying to download a raspberry pi image to a windows vista pc. It is for an SD card, but the image won't download.

I was supposed to get the cubietruck this friday, it didn't appear, now they tell me I'll get it monday. I'm supposed to be ready for wednesday. Heck I'll never make it. I don't get half of the stuff in the manuals. I never worked with a java terminal before. The only things I understand is the putty client (i've used a telnet client years ago for some MUD), the phoenixsuit to distribute the image, and the SQLite browser. And that's about it really.
