it was based on the timing of Serendipity's cf running out with Pew... Because Pew was much bigger and we had zero chance to win that war or even hold our own...
So no, it wasn't originally planned to run from Pew.

I admit it was arranged... as far as the war between Serendipity and CR... The hostile was drug out with the upcoming American holiday in mind...

The time was originally arranged to have us in protection during Thanksgiving, barring a long war, and it was timed to prevent Pew from being able to notice us, Serendipity.

The outcome of the war was not arranged, obviously... But as badly as that war went for us, CR is good, damned good... But a bigger more pumped kd would have devastated us even more... :-)

Good ome tommy. Because if you are already there, having taken the precaution of finder saver pastures before the Hunnic Horde arrives, you can barely call it running. Its a slow march undertaken well before the danger has arrived. Only slow slackers sludging their sledgehammers sleeping on selfmade wooden verandas, the type you see in 60ies cowboy movies, will eventually get caught up in the mix and have to run from war. Alas, what times we live in!!!

I will wager it has to due with the halfers and the spread of bank hits as well as better core chaining. Tho Godly and Zaup could say better than me

It's due to several factors:
1) We've nearly shelled out one of their elf cows. He's lost ~100k troops (half of original) over ops/hits.
2) We're chaining a bit more effectively (more overpop) causing the NW on the chained provs to drop more harshly.
3) Pew started with really low peasants due to their aggressive draft so their peasant growth on new land & filling in underpop due to trading hits will be ridiculously slow.
4) They've slayed a dragon and could have potentially started slaying the new one.
5) Most importantly, he's only looking at the war numbers and I think we're up 1 wave.

CR has finished the majority of their wave and PewPew is mid into their wave as they have overlapped waves now. PewPew avian & tact core is lapping CR's slower core speeds.
