In the past, had Abs kds warred one another, this would have been deemed cheating, even if both kds warred to the best of their abilities. Or have I been misinformed?

Personally I would have wanted to see them fight in the ages they were #1 and #2 and close enough in range. Afaik Proteus wanted to war Sanc one age with Rage but Sanc declined (dunno details, is what Ive heard).
Its fairly easy to see if war is real or not so if game admin(s) would monitor it I wouldn't see the problem.

I think its the competitive view that is important. Age is labeled as over if all kds aren't going to compete.

cjs kd going neutral ultimately doesn't give him the right to pick any opponent on the server when awar is over.
