this thread will be deleted or moved soon. but let me faster do some publicity! I realized that the last time I did this.. the world cup competition. It was in utopia talk. So i'm going to act ignorant and create 1 here :P

The EPL season is starting soon (~2hrs) and I'm gathering interest whether there will be enough utopians out there who wants to take part in a fantasy premier league hosted at http://fantasy.premierleague.com/

it's basically a season long fantasy game where you will be managing a virtual soccer team.. and you will be scored based on the performance of your picks during each match week. you will also be able to make transfers during the season and rotate your squad for different match weeks. There will be a private league hosted for utopia players.

In terms of prizes, I'm not too sure what I can get bishop to sponsor. Previously I managed to get bishop to sponsor approximately ~650 credits for the world cup competition. I might ask bishop to potentially sponsor credits for manager of the week, manager of the month, and manager of the season. Again no promises on this.

For starters, would want to have a check on the community interest for this. If I feel it's feasible to organise, we would probably start from match day 2 of the league (in about ~ 1 week from now). Please state here if you are interested in this!

Because it's up to Bishop whether or not he wants to promote this in-game. If he decides to do so then there's a legitimate reason why it would belong in this forum and not just in GT.

Well even if bishop wants to promote this game he could just put a banner ingame, give it a subforum or whatever. This category is called "utopia talk" for obvious reasons so no matter how you look at it really it fit in here.

No, mods are doing a great job....

They always did a good job here, they dont let trolls flame threads, they dont let trolls make trollbait posts and they are not biased. They are also not self centered nor gets involved in every single topic actively, they also dont promote trolling by trolling users, they are fair and just. They keep anon, stay low and remove all users that cause non stop trouble. Overall, solid work by our moderators. Clap clap!
