    Ka-Pow vs TGG

There’s a very close war going on in the mid land/nw ranks. 2 22 player kingdoms on the same island chose to duke it out. Everything started very equal. About the same amount of land, around the same amount of nw, same amount of players, both kingdoms some trouble with a few players, both kingdoms around 60k honour at the start, both kingdoms had well secured t/m’s who held most of that honour and both kingdoms had the same war record, both 3/5 warwins and 5.7 war points. It’s as close to equal as one can get starting a war and after 96 hours of hostile and war, it’s still extremely close, with the lead in land swings during the waves and both kd’s nw keep going down gradually with Ka-pow taking a small lead there.

    Ka-Pow’s kd setup is
    1 Avian Tactician
2 Faery Mystics, 3 Faery Rogues
    1 Halfling Rogue
5 Human Mystics, 3 Human Tacticians
4 Orc Warriors, 2 Orc Clerics, 1 Orc Warrior

    TGG’s kd setup is
3 Faery Mystics, 2 Faery Sages, 2 Faery Rogue
6 Human Sages, 2 Human Warriors
    6 Orc Warriors
    1 Undead War Hero

    The hostile:
When agreeing to war, TGG stated they had some trouble with a few players. They also asked to move the hostile date a bit to sort things out and receive the war button. Ka-Pow was just eager to get the war going and had no problem giving the button as long as TGG would drop their fortified stance before hostilities would begin. TGG dropped their fortified on may 15th, year 13 and Ka-Pow waved 2 hours later on may 17 with traditional marches on their faeries that were breakable and attackers with army home for the smaller provinces in Ka-Pow. TGG ambushed 3 hits, made 1 traditional march and declared war on may 21.

    The War
TGG received a small advantage at the start of the war with the ability to get the first chains in. They wasted no time and chained Ka-Pows human with the most military and an attacker who wasn’t present at the hostile wave and didn’t have incoming acres. Ops started to fly both ways aswell, at the start of the war it was mostly fools gold, lightning strikes, stealing cash to fund dragons and stealing runes. Ka-Pow had their sapphire funded on hostile and quickly sent it in war, started another sapphire and reaped the benefits of that dragon right away with t/m’s blasting their mana and stealth away.
Of course, Ka-Pow needed to answer TGG’s impressive wave on declaration with an equally impressive wave and deepchained TGG’s highest offense attacker while doing some extra hits on faeries and a few massacres into attackers.
TGG responded to the massacres by chaining the attacker with a low amount of incoming land. At this point TGG chose to tank the dragon they had and didn’t send theirs yet.
The attacks by Ka-Pow were lined up again and Ka-Pow started their nightmare fueled deepchains on attackers with the highest amount of peasants while limiting the incoming acres with ambushes and doing massacres after attackers had hit for enough incoming land to keep peasant population under control.
Fast forward a few days of war and almost all attackers on both sides have been chained. Ka-Pow has a province MIA that TGG seems to steal from to fuel their dragonwar, while a province in TGG simply left. Ka-Pow has chained their targets a bit deeper, but TGG was able to chain more provinces at once and control chained down provinces. Now that most chains have been done and both sides are exercising their preferred way of peasant control, it’s exciting to see how both sides will mix up their strategies to pull the odds to their favor. As for dragons, Ka-Pow has sent 2 sapphires, both have been slain. TGG has sent a ruby, a sapphire and a gold dragon, all 3 have been slain. Ka-Pow is currently funding an emerald dragon and TGG is still deciding what dragon to send next.

Now playing a well prepared bacon rogue. Seasoned the little piggie with peper, thyme and rosemary. Put in the oven with potatoes under it so those get baked in the seasoned fat dripping down. Asparagus with cherrytomatoes, olives and basil on the side. Hmmmmmm.

That kind of sums it up. Would like to add that Redfox has been inactive most of the war which is quite the blow for us. Unfortunately your inactive human has no gc to steal, his income is at a negative, being hit a few times and at 3k peasants and 200% wages hes making 0, zip, nothing, silche, nada We are really feeling the pain of not having rogues this age (we had one that joined us a few weeks ago, but being small entering the war he was dealt with swiftly).

I will write a longer reply once I have the time and energy

Very excited to see where this war is taking us! A province of Ka-pow just collapsed due to unfortunate circumstances, making it a 21-21 fight! (20-20 actives).

As the monarch of Ka-pow i'd like to invite anyone who might be interested to play with us to PM me if you are looking for an active warring kingdom, with a very friendly atmosphere. We are always looking for passionate recruits to help our kingdom advance.

    Some facts about Ka-Pow
    - Mostly EU based
    - Friendly (chat) atmosphere
    - Active / warring
    - Cool banners / themes (in my modest opinion)
    - Upoopu intel storage

    "Cool banners/themes"

No need to be modest about that, already looking forward to next age theme. It involves an actor: Butterscotch Crocodile. No, I mean bluedribble clapperhands. Bluntfarmer Cripplesbane. You know who I mean, the one with the face.

Nice write up of the war. One of our semi-inactives decided to up and defect mid war, then not long after Nekron died an unfortunate PK death (was not our intention), but it put the war back on an even field again 20 vs 20 (with one inactive on both sides).

Has been a really fun war. One of our Orcs ended up as a Marquis! Not often you see that lol

You guys put up a good fight. We enjoyed the war and would have continued to maybe eoa but the weekend came and our players left :P Our usual wave turnup is like 17 people minimum and now we started one with 12 of which 5 TMs... time to call it a day!

yeah we figured that was why you backed out of the war in the end. You were far from beaten and the war would have continued for a few more days before any clear winner was determined. Figured the weekend was the reason.
