Deals and CFs and such

So...please explain to me how this stuff works. I was recently offered a "farmout" clause...is this normal? Because I don't like the sound of it...but I want to know how you big KDs do this CFs and deals that last forever and have all these rules. I'm so new to it all it's not even funny.

A farmout clause is prolly offered because the kingdom CFing you has no faith in your abilities and wants to make sure you don't put them at a major acre disadvantage if you happen to screw up left and right and give the competition acres while you're CFed to them.

I've been seeing it more and more in the top. It's just another safeguard against nub KDs farming out to one KD while the others are left watching.

So ok break it to me...as a whoring KD -- when and how do you guys decide to start feeding on those "nub KDs farming out to _____"

Is there a big bullseye target specifically or just whoever's next biggest? Or what? And in this case...why not farm out each other? When do you set up deals with each other, right at BOA? Like right now

there's a KD with a couple of HUGE dwarves and a KD with 3-4 almost as HUGE avians. Why don't the dwarves start farming the avians? They're bigger, stronger, and looks to me like the avians couldn't do much about it. Or take the avian KD, why don't they farm the next KD which has some more dwarves and avians that are pretty big, but definitely not as big. I'm just sort of confused how it all works and how/when/why you pick the targets you do.

Like how many acres have you compiled with minimum to zero CFs?
What kind of reaction do you have to 2 top kingdoms grabbing acres from you simultaneously?
Can you muster the activity level to warrant your desired acreage?

You can master the skills, I'm sure, smercjd. I haven't, but I know what I'm looking at when I get crumpled by a top kingdom, lol.

They have CF's in place. You don't launch cows if you aren't sure they're going to protected, otherwise not only are you just throwing your acres away, but you're also feeding rival cows.

I'm a pretty big fan of farmout clauses, they generally get you a cheaper CF, and if you're actually self-aware and don't put yourself in a situation to end up farming out in a chart-shaping manner, they aren't actually going to come to fruition.

None of the current growth KDs are at all unreasonable about CFs in my eyes, they aren't going to bully you that hard over wanting acres.

But sizes go up as the age goes on, as does potential scale of farmouts. If I try and secure a long term or EOA CF with a growth KD now, then they justifiably want some assurances that I'm not going to be giving 20k acres to their competition 3 months from now.

The cf basically vanishes as soon as someone hits you and they'll typically expect you to release/suicide so they can drop you out of range instantly~

MFer Level? I've compiled a decent amount...but if I don't get CFs in place, I'm afraid they won't do any good at all as Palem states later. I'd like to arrange CF's with them, but it seems silly to arrange a farmout clause unless I can arrange one with all of them -- which seems less and less likely :( Any tips?

Yes well cow launching involves KD assistance I presume, because they got big REALLY quick...and most of them are merchants so that helps I'm sure - lol -- looks back at when I almost clicked Merchant :/ I'm not necessarily concerned with "rival" cows. You can't beat me, you can't even see me, my time is now. Your best bet is to trade your cow acres for a spot in a winning kd #ItHasBeenDone

farmout clauses are pretty stupid, surprised they haven't caused drama yet. If people are known to be solo banks and the top kds can get together and CF them without care, that's ideal. As soon as someone tries to fight one and while doing so farms out to someone else, I smell drama.

He wont make it far enough for it to be a significant amount of land. Median will cut him off shortly. Do we want to divide up his acres between us or just race for it?
