how many ticks does it take for ME to adjust when changing wages from 50% to 200% ?

Based on calculations done by RiffArt (see the Strategy Talk forum), the change every tick is 5% of the difference between your effective wage rate (the value that is used to calculate your ME this tick), and your paid wage rate (the value you set in the military page).

This means that you will never reach max ME. But

1. To reach 100% ME requires 8 ticks
2. To reach 104.3% ME, or 150% wages, requires 22 ticks
3. To reach 107.0% ME requires 53 ticks
4. To reach 107.5% ME requires 85 ticks
