My predictions for next age changes :)

Faery: get +1 off specs (from halfer) and elites 3/6 (spliting army in ospa+epa results in lower def)
The rest pretty much the same.

    Halfer:
elite boost to 5/5 and cost on 500 gc.
Lose 2/2 soldiers and get +15% pop (instead of 10%). Thieves 350 gc instead of 250.

    Elf:
Lose the Pitfalls. Lower WPA boost to 30% (from 40%). Elites 5/5 and more expensive (from 5/4). The -30% losses apply to both off and defense.

Orcs: Ogres get cheaper (550gc instead of 750). Science penalty increased to -33%.
Gets GBP protection after 1 hit received.. Get bloodlust.

Humans: Lose QF and Lose -20 gains (pretty much the same thing, as QF = +1 h bonus aproximative). Have only 10% OME but works in Peace also (not only war).
Bonus: make libs twice as efficient.

    Dwarves
    - +150% food consumption and 30% increased build time :) i hate them and people think they are overpowered anyway. Improve elites to 6/4 or even 6/5 (strongest elites in game). Rest stays unchanged.

    Avian:
Lose 1 general. Keep the rest. Add: faster training 30% too.

    Undead:
No idea :))). They are fine i guess.

    ***

    Personalities:

Warrior: get Pitfalls. Lose bloodlust. Rest the same.

Sage: Lose 33% sci efficiency. Instead gains 33% cheaper science (that's more logical).

Tactician: Get QF and also has -15% attack time.

Cleric: Get Pitfalls. Lose - combat losses and immune to plague and get Hospitals twice effective (like cure plague instantly).

    Rest of personalities unchanged...

    ***

    Mechanics:

Science cost 33% cheaper (combined with Sage can do Extreme almost all time). Results in overall science increase over the all server and thus increase the competitivity as well.

Makes learns more efficient since more people have science.

    Encouraging wars:

Hostile Metter is increased twice as faster by all attack.

    Stance:
NORMAL get half of Forti penalty and half of Aggresive bonus.
Aggresive: increase combat gains and loses to 25%.
    Fortified: stay the same.

    It's clearly labeled a "prediction."

Thank you infinitely for your foresight, vlahul. Now everyone can get down to planning.

there could be pretty good combos.

    Like:

Human / Sage - powerfull science and OME boost, probably a top choice for everybody.
Dwarves will stay top choice too I guess. Also Sage, or War Hero or Warrior and even Tactician. With their BE bonus, dwarves can be very versatile both in whoring and rawring.
Faeries - now become a decent choice for a/t/m. Their lack of offense made them purely t/m. The 5/0 off spec is nothing critical, after all many will have Elites. It allow FA to go for a ospa /epa combo, light attacker.
Avians - their fast attack time is nothing without the capacity to retrain troops. Being able to train 30-40% faster will make from avians potent attackers.

The Orcs - the GBP boost 12% OME and DME, that's what a pure attacker needs. Basically we have Orcs in GBP always. Alongside Undeads being the top attacking race.

Many combos could work efficiently out of the above "predictions" haha :).

Dwarf / Merchant... more potent now :) some players will like that, haha

Age changes are heavily based on user suggestions and feedback, just fyi.

Running Dwarf/Rogue for next age, it would be nice having the +% for food, bring back the + population.

I never believed this Palem, the devs made every time what they wanted :) and not care about what their users need.

To be honest, i really played with those changes, never thought of it seriously. But there is some seed of truth in it, there are some "overused" combos and less versatility to the game.

People should have a much higher variety for their combo choices.

And that "more competitive" suggestion is really needed for the game mechanics.

But my opinion is one amongst 3000 :) so nobody care in the end.

You're free to believe what you want. Facts are facts. There aren't a whole lot of changes made that weren't suggested. (at least with Sean and Brian)

    Thumbs up

remove the food penalty, or at least decrease it,had to run 50% food science to compensate for the food consumption.

I agree that "higher variety" or greater strategic depth (as I say) would be good for the game right now. One moment to plug my warlock suggestion. About the devs they do seem to respond to player community suggestion. In age 50 there was a strong call from the community for returning undead and they were returned.
