Hi all and happy New Year!
umunk (www.umunk.net) has been updated for the new age! For those who don't know it, it's an intel site that provides a browser-script to automatically send and receive intel/info. Also includes a chat-bot to help organize the kingdom as well as several other features. Go to #munkbot on IRC (utonet) to ask for more info from me or other users.
For existing users and admins -- be sure to purge the previous age's intel by using the .purgeallintel command and set the new kingdom location with .setkd
There has been some updates during the last age and during the freeze time.
* I've talked to berg (host of utonet) -- Hopefully I should be able to host more bots myself by having the connection limit to the irc server increased. Not quite working yet, but hopefully soon.
* I've had to spend a lot of time updating the Whatsapp integration. Whatsapp are enforcing encryption and it required a lot of tinkering to get it to work. If your Whatsapp used to work, but is giving troubles now, let me know.
* Last age I upgraded the server to a VPS, and it's my impression that it's running rather smooth and gave a lot less down time than previous ages (especially considering the increase in users and kingdoms).
* There are now >30 kingdoms using munkbot actively -- I hope to increase this number to allow even more players the benefits of this type of system.
* Donations are covering my costs to the server and phone services (.call and .sms) - and are somewhat covering a fair compensation for the time it takes to maintain, service and support for the site and users - thanks to all the people who donated.
Especial shoutout to the top 10 donors of last age:
1 meep
2 vic
3 benjamin
4 Loons
5 hawk
6 andreas
7 zauper
8 felonious
9 Nar
10 beck
If people find bugs or have suggestions for new features please message me on utonet (my nick is munk) or write in the support channel #munkbot.
Happy new age!
(TF is down as usual for the first days of the new age to prevent showing munkbot kds through activity. I will monitor it and open it when it seems 'safe' to open up and start it.)
