The devs have made a decision to kill competitive utopia and have thereby killed my interest with it.
I give them props for running an interesting kd setup.
I think it is an awful setup but gl to them.

I agree free needs to reset about 20 of there provinces. Spartans made the right choice they punted a bad idea before they completely ruined there age. Smart move on the Spartans part, but doubt free will be that smart. lol

Actually no anyone running that setup doesn't understand how the new NW system works. Elfs and halflings can't be core attackers do to nw per elites to offensive output. Now they can be used to small groups like 3 or 4. Hoping to create unbreakables. Same problem with humans this age. Nw per elites makes them hit down in net on top of -10% gains. Throw a emerald dragon in there you could be getting up to 25% to 50% less land then any other core attacker. I understand why Spartans did human merchants because out of oop they where super powerful. Frees issue is just not understanding mechanics of the game. Now they can bottom feed with that setup but once there honor is high enough large kingdoms will just take all of it. So hence setup fails all the way around in the end.
