ITS ALL good. You'll be weaker then people who played the full age, but good learning experience. Also a good way to meet KD mates, and if you don't like em you can go somewhere new next age- maybe even check recruiting. Also IRC is big in utopia.

If you are new to the game...make sure to tell your kingdom mates!


If they do not like you because they rather have a better player join...don't be discouraged!


Go to preferences and click "Random Move"...then you will be randomly placed again somewhere else.


Hopefully you can find a kingdom that can teach you the ropes

Yeah, don't worry about starting late. I've restarted as many as 7 new provinces in one age. I travel as a mercenary and stink at mechanics but I manage just fine. Last age I started an elf cleric with 5 and 1/2 weeks left and got to respectable honor and gained acres in every war*.

Find a kingdom you like with friendly people and enjoy yourself.

* exception being an end of age war that never ended. Still retained my honor though.

I'm acutely aware of the player base and it needs a little love like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree.

Respect to all, but we should be particularly welcoming to new and returning players.
