    It's currently 451 vs Bernie's 19.
From what I understand its only the delegates that mater, as you pointed out here.

It's going to be Trump vs Clinton. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just dreaming. Hillary will get the nomination w/o the super-delegates, so the Dems will hold on to that piece of BS longer. Wouldn't having super-delegates like that make them the socialist party? The Reps are tired of politics as usual, so FU, you get Trump.

Yeah, looks like it. Dat Clinton Machine found the WD-40.

Know what would be epic? A 4-way race in the general to really FSU; Drumpf and the shattered remains on the GOP, Clinton and the establishment Democrats, Sanders running as a protest candidate to spearhead the fake-socialist movement, and whatever the GOPe puts up to protest Drumpf. I want to see Bernie and Drumpf get into a yelling match, dammit; none of the GOP twerps know how to attack the Donald because their ideology sucks, and Bernie has decades of experience yelling over people about politics.

I remember watching Bernie on C-Span back when I was a expelled teenager/twentysomething with nothing better to watch. He can get in a talking head argument for sure and he'd totally wreck Donald.

It's hilarious to watch the conservatives take shots at Trump and whiff every time. What's more hilarious is that the more they attack, the more they expose just how far the conservative leadership is divorced from the rabble they need to win anything - and the writing is on the wall. The GOP is dead, and they did it to themselves the moment they let Ronnie Raygun Make America Hate Again.

I'm so looking forward to one of the biggest general election eviscerations of all time.

Every Trump sentence has words. Sometimes three words. Or two. And they're great sentences. Terrific sentences. That I can tell you. Believe me. They're great. With the best words. Terrific repeated words. Not very big words. Every Trump sentence has words.

Oh, in case any of you guys are actually serious about Trump: take a good look at the state of Michigan and its Republican governor, how they are running things. If you substitute Trump's name recognition and bombast, replace it with a nerdy persona and no name recognition, you basically have Michigan's governor, expert businessman who is going to appoint the best men etc. etc.

Still 95% voting Bernie in the primaries; not so much because I'm feeling the bern, but to send a message that socialism is cool now.
Also, **** Michigan. This state has been run like ****, and people need to stop voting for more of the same garbage.

EDIT: Anderson Cooper bugs so hard. Total Hillary homer.

    As an outsider.

Clinton has clearly won the Democratic party nomination.
No one knows what the feck will happen in the Republican nomination, because there are three equally plausible scenerarios (and multiple sub variations).

    1) Trump scrambles over the line as a 35% Trump, 30% Cruz , 35% Rubio/Kasich vote is split enough that he wins the winner takes all states.
    2) After the March 15th vote, if Kasich loses in Ohio and Rubio loses in Florida, the GOP swallow the poison pill and goes all in on anyone but Trump and backs Cruz. Personally I think Trump wins Florida and Kasich wins Ohio which makes it even more bat****.

    3) The GOP forces Kasich out after the Ohio vote, recognising that they need to coalesce their vote , to have some kinda mandate in the contested convention.

I don't think that's necessarily true. While I don't have a lot of hope that Bernie will pull it off...because....politics....but he's certainly not out of anything yet. In terms of pledged delegates it's still pretty close. Although, don't ask any major news network because they've had this thing won by Hillary since she announced she was running.

Bernie does need to start winning some big states though. Hillary has the lead she has because of Super Tuesday. Alabama, Texas, Georgia, and Virginia were all pretty sizable victories for Hillary, but those are all Republican states. I think calling the race because a Democrat had some big wins in red states would be pretty foolish. In order for Bernie to realistically win this is he's going to have to have a good showing in Michigan, ideally win it, but just splitting the vote like what's been happening would be good enough. Then he's going to have to have a huge day on March 15th. Florida, Illinois, Ohio need to have a big showing and he needs to win them. I expect him to lose North Carolina because Hillary just has that southern appeal for some reason. If Bernie can get those battleground states he's absolutely got an argument for why he should get the nomination.

    Clinton has won the Dems.

The Republican nomination is full bat**** , so no one knows. Even a nub like me could spin a plausible case for why certain parties could win the nomination.

One thing is certain. Whether Trump ,Cruz or brokered (Rubio) wins, they all lose the presidency under these conditions.

And with it , they lose the Supreme Court.

The US , no matter how much the house filibusters , is going to the left , and will do it in incremental steps.

What is amusing (to me) is that the hardcore right doesn't see how it is losing. [ In that if you win the nomination ,somehow, under these circumstances you lose the court ]

What is sad(to me) , is that there are many virtues to the conservative model and worked as a counterbalance to wooly thinking. =[

And I am a wooly liberal who believes in love .
    Sometimes. = )

The problem is they, the right, see capitalism as a religion and not a guide or reference. It's the golden calf. Our sagging infrastructure is indicative of the Daffy Duck mindset:

Bugs Bunny: [opening a clam] I wonder how that crazy duck ever made out with that genie? Hey, whaddya know, a pearl!
[a shrunken Daffy runs out of the hole and goes for the pearl]
Daffy Duck: It's mine, you understand? Mine, mine! All mine! Go, go, go! Mine, do you hear me? Out, out, out! Mine, mine, mine! Go away! There's only enough for me!
Bugs Bunny: Oh, brother. Close, sesame.
[Bugs closes the clam on Daffy]
Daffy Duck: I'm rich. I'm a happy miser.
