Single payer or universal health care, no matter what you call it, is to me the second most important thing after opportunity that a government can give.

And sh*t if the Scandanavians can do it, the US sure as sh*t can look after the vulnerable.

That said. I don't view the GOP as truly boned yet. I do think Cruz will take a contested, lose but not be destroyed.

They have an active base . Enough to fill state legislative positions and gubernatorial positions and be 1/3+ of the Repubs. That's a strong voice still.

Dems need to get a message that is active outside of presidential cycle.

If by some chance Trump won't hit 1237, the GOP's only choice is Trump. Whatever they think of him, he is their only shot at winning this year.
