Can you regift a gift?

If say, someone gifts you an invite, can you then regift that invite to someone else so that it is sitting in their shop inventory?

Indeed. You send a kingdom 4 province changes instead of an invite with a small note attached:

So yes you can, then lie about it being a regift and make them feel bad for accusing you of such a thing. Break the gift for dramatic effect if needed.
