Limit to moves per age question

One of our guys had to leave the kd did to his wife giving birth to twins so we brought in a new guy to take his province. Original owner abandoned and new guy bought an invite to join, but we got

so... "There is a limit on the number of times that players can move into your kingdom via invite in a given Utopian age. Your kingdom has 0 out of 6 moves (6 free moves and 0 paid moves) remaining."

We had no idea this was a thing. Are we completely screwed now? We have an empty province and no way to fill it now? Can we set least get the old guy ownership of his province back so we don't lose an entire well built province?

The invite wasnt used, its sitting in that guys inventory. When you use an invite it increments your moves.

Hm, ok. Perhaps its a perfect storm of our monarch being nub and utopia having poor phrasing in that regard. Will try again when he wakes up
