SPARTANS vs Bart

Edit: I often wonder at the motives of why people do things in Utopia. One such individual I often wonder about is Bart. In short, he has made a deal (with reluctant Spartan agreement) between Sparta and CD. Given our age is essentially over, in exchange for a war, CD will recruit Bart to lead the war against Sparta, taking over one of their provinces, as well as a 50% land advantage over Sparta.

The terms are as follows.

1. Date: ~Jan YR12

2. Button: Spartans will give button, CD will hit 7x (else we run the risk of being OOR at declare). Button given within 30 minutes of the tick.

3. Acre caps: Spartan - 120K CD - 180K.

4. CD will press button within 10 minutes of given.

I've given Bart the benefit of the doubt, that his intention is to help improve Sparta to function well autonomously without him, to improve individual's province management, to improve teamwork. Even though Sparta has a massive science, honour and wpa advantage, my guess is that Sparta will be crushed by CD's raw military numbers (they already have big gold stacks, 6 days out of hostile). Bart will also have access to our Munk (and chat?) right up until hostile, which wasn't warmly received, to say it lightly ;)

Game on. SPARTAAAA!!

Its a typical MO of Bart, if he cant get the kd hes in to war Sparta he then proceeds to farmout his own provinces to Sparta and then join Sparta.

It actually started as a joke, but out of the joke grew an idea. The idea then lead to a plan. It's gonna be a very exciting conflict. I've yet to meet most of my new KD-mates but I'm a good friend of Panthira and Caff. I figured it would also be good as a test for a KD that is too used to starting fights from a superior position. It's also a good chance to show the utopia community that not all of this game is about hard competition, the core is action and fun.

Some of my Spartan brothers are already ****ting their pants it seems! It will be a good learning experience for both sides (my Spartans facing hardship and hopefully I can teach CD a thing or two about warring).

I will keep everyone posted on it and how it progresses!
