How often do Scientist appear?

Curious on how often scientist are suppose to arrive? I got some in January, but I haven't received anymore new ones in almost 36 hours. Just wondering if it was suppose to be a real day thing or it goes by some sort of formula. I got the other ones in January, because I am sage and was running 30% Labs. However, since removing labs (thought abduct was good, so i removed them) and the fix to abduct, I have received no more scientist. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

It's estimated (based on values given in age changes) that the chance of their spawn is ~3.5%. At least that's what I estimate it to be based on values given (and 14 week age).

Since I didn´t got anyone so far (Mar 5, YR0) and my kd mates say they didn´t got anyone also, then I belive the chance is a little smaller than a Lotto jackpot.

Im running a faery, have had revelate up since about the 12th tick, haven't had a scientist yet. THere is an undead warrior in my kd who has gotten 3 or 4 by now (at least once since bugfix). Idk how it works, guess you'd better be lucky.

I am guessing that is how the math of 80-120 scientist comes from.

I was wanting that also, but abduct brings nothing, it only serves to lose troops and get the remaining troops unavailable.
