    Dragon Numbers

Are there any kingdoms that have sent a dragon in war able to give some numbers about health/cost relative to NW at the time of sending/starting?

I'm curious about them for when I finally get a chance to send some dragons in war!

    Base cost is on Gold Dragons, and is same as dragons of past Ages, I'm pretty sure, and the relative costs of the other dragons are as follows;

    Sapphire - 0.5 cost
    Gold - 1 cost
    Ruby - 1.2 cost
    Emerald - 1.5 cost

I cannot say about the HP, as our opponent didn't manage to fly one on us. Best guess is that it would be similar to cost setup, Gold is same HP as previous Ages, and the others use the same modifiers as for cost- but that is pure speculation on my part.

A Emerald Dragon is ravaging the lands of our kingdom! We estimate him to have 105,134 points of strength left.
    NW when received: 2,706,505

Lets steal the numbers above from Bo To and RattleHead

Old formula was Dragon HP = ( Receiving Kingdom NW / ~44 ) * Relations Mod

    2706505/44=61511
    105134/61511=1.71

old formula was Dragon Cost = MAX ( Target Kingdom NW , Your Kingdom NW ) * 1.25

"new" emerald dragon is cost of old dragon *1.5.....While new hp is 1.71 times the old dragon hp? maybe someone killed a little and that should round to 1.75? 1.71 just seems so squishy....i dont like that number :P

I think we need nw+hp of 3 types of dragons before we can make more reasonable estimates.

Till the the "New" formula should look like

Dragon Cost: Metric= Max nw (target kd a, target kd b)*0.625
    Dragon HP: Metric 2= ????

    Sapphire
    ---Cost: Metric
    ---HP:
    Gold
    ---Cost: 2*Metric
    ---HP:
    Ruby
    ---Cost: 2.4*Metric
    ---HP:
    Emerald
    ---Cost: 3*Metric
    ---HP:

OK I just did a dumby Gold Dragon, and it worked out to 1.746x of the enemy KD NW in GC, and 1.401x of my own KDs NW (Our NW is larger) ... 1.75 seems like the number? (in either case, NOT the same cost structure as has been seen in the past)

    When I started them earlier:

    Our KDNW = 2.1mil
    Their KDNW = ~2.3mil

    Saph - 2.1mil gc
    Gold - 4.1mil gc
    Ruby - 5mil gc
    Emmy - 6.2mil gc

This is what I got from our first war (sadly no dragons were sent):

    Dragon Cost:
    Our KD NW --> 2,133,849
    Their KD NW --> 2,188,900

The Sapphire Dragon Project for New World Hors dOeuvres (5:13) has begun. The total cost will be 1,915,287 gold coins.

The Emerald Dragon Project for New World Hors dOeuvres (5:13) has begun. The total cost will be 5,745,852 gold coins.

The Ruby Dragon Project for New World Hors dOeuvres (5:13) has begun. The total cost will be 4,596,699 gold coins.

The Gold Dragon Project for New World Hors dOeuvres (5:13) has begun. The total cost will be 3,829,936 gold coins.

.87% of max KD NW = sapphire.
262% of max KD NW = emerald.
210% of max KD NW = ruby.
175% of max KD NW = gold.

    +1

Apprximation: Emerald is 3x KD nw. Ruby is 2x KD nw, Gold is 1.25x KD nw, Sapphire is 1x KD nw. Not sure where some people are getting other numbers from that are way off.
NighT's cost number might be closer and more accurate. But, if gold is 175% then the age changes are wrong. It was posted that gold costs won't change and gold was previously 125%.

I agree with NighT's assessment for cost.

    2.3 * 1.75 = 4.025

With his (s0830887) rounding i think its fair to say thats close enough to the 4.1M cost he stated for his Gold Dragon... Larger KD NW * 1.75.

    To me it appears the costs are [The larger of the two KDs NW] * ;

    0.875 for Sapphire
    1.75 for Gold (2x Sapph)
    2.1 for Ruby (2.4x Sapph)
    2.625 for Emerald (3x Sapph)

Real remaining question to me is the HP, whether it scales the same way as the cost.

    EDIT:

Okay so no hard numbers, but i asked around and got some approximations on sapphire

    ~3.2 million =25k or so
    ~2.7 million =20k or so
    ~1.8 million =13k or so

Based on the values it looks like Sapphire HP=1/3*(Receiving kds NW / 44).

We determined above that Emerald HP=1.75* (Receiving kds nw /44)

    Different HP Metric

    DRAGONS

    Cost Metric = 0.875 * [Larger KD's NW]

    Sapphire - 1.0x Cost Metric
    Gold - 2.0x Cost Metric
    Ruby - 2.4x Cost Metric
    Emerald - 3.0 Cost Metric

    Still not sure 100% on the HP... Traditional calcs use [Receiving KD NW / 44] as the HP metric, but it seems arbitrary to me... Anyways for starters until I can see all 4 I will relate them in that manner;

HP Metric = [Receiving KD NW] / 44

Sapphire - 1/3 * HP Metric (0.75% Receiving KD NW)
    Gold - ?? * HP Metric
    Ruby - ?? * HP Metric
Emerald - 1.75 * HP Metric (3.9375% Receiving KD NW)

    ##########################################

The follow is speculation based on matching cost scale to the HPs that have been shared in game forums.

Gold - (2.625% Receiving KD NW)
Ruby - (3.15% Receiving KD NW)

Emerald Cost is 3x Sapph, and reported HP is 5.25x that of Sapph.
    5.25HP multiplier / 3 cost multiplier = 1.75 HP/cost
    Gold Cost is 2x Sapph, so; 2 cost * 1.75 HP/cost = 3.5x HP ... and 0.75% * 3.5 = 2.625%
    Ruby Cost is 2.4x Sapph, so; 2.4 cost * 1.75 HP/cost = 4.2x HP .. and 0.75% * 4.2 = 3.15%

    ...

    ... If you follow me?

So my HP Metric would = 0.75% Receiving KD NW

    Sapphire HP = HP Metric
Gold HP = 3.5x HP Metric (Still speculative)
Ruby HP = 4.2x HP Metric (Still speculative)
Emerald HP = 5.25x HP Metric

I recently had a Gold on me, I failed to record the exact numbers, but when I roughed it out, these actually worked pretty good, let me know!

HP of Sapphire is exactly NW/64 for the 1 we just got. It is not based on %, it is based on NW/whole number. My guess:
    Last age NW/44
    Sapphire NW/64 health reduced significantly
    Gold NW/50 health slightly reduced
    Emerald NW/36 health increased significantly
Ruby NW/22 a lot more health
